As much as we love our Curated Tea Blends we know that herbs have unique and varying effects on people. These variances are due to a number of factors, such as diet, lifestyle, doshas & energetics.
We believe that our bodies are our best guide and if we listen in we will find out exactly which herbs will currently support us.
Our Custom Tea Blends and Pendulum Tea Readings were designed with the above intention in mind. Our Pendulum Tea Readings are not your average tea reading, but instead a one of a kind IRL experience! Using a pendulum and seasonal herbs, we read your energy field to determine which herbs currently benefit you and then craft a personal custom tea blend made just for you and your lifestyle.

Our Approach to Cocktails & Tiki 🍹
We believe that herbs and cocktails go hand in hand.
Many cocktails you might be familiar with, such as the Negroni & Old Fashioned, are herbal bitter digestifs. Brands such as Angostura Bitters, Aperol, Campari & Fernet-Branca were created first for medicinal use and second for cocktails. Fernet-Branca was actually legal in America during prohibition!
Given these many connections between herbs and cocktails, we want to continue their amazing partnership, while adding in a bit of Tiki Flare and Non-Alcoholic Cocktails to the mix.

Hi! I'm Alix
Founder. CEO.
Bartender. Herbalist. Mixologist. Tea Lover.
Tea has always been more than just a drink to me. It’s a daily ritual and a form of meditation. Bringing a sense of peace and happiness that dates back to mother daughter tea parties from my childhood. After my mothers passing in 2008, tea became a source of comfort and I began to explore different types of teas and brewing methods. Finding ways to incorporate traditional brewing practices, such as gongfu, into my daily ritual.
In 2020, during lockdown, I returned to my childhood home where I discovered a vintage herbalism book of my mothers and was immediately inspired. I began taking online courses through the herbal academy, earning two certificates focused on herbal preparation and formulations.
In 2021, I began creating custom blends and custom cocktails for friends which quickly turned into a passion project, Rhino + Lucy. My source of inspiration being my two stuffed best friends, Mixologist Rhino and Tea Master Lucy.
I'm excited to share my love of Tiki and Tea with the world and can’t wait to meet you!

Like Alix, my fascination for Tiki was sparked during our weekend adventures exploring the unique hangouts and hidden gems scattered throughout Los Angeles. The intricate cocktails and diverse atmospheres instantly captivated me. Alongside Alix, we envisioned having our own tiki bar and transformed a section of our home into a prototype. We’ve shared a deep fondness for rhinos and rhino conservation for years so it only made sense to combine our two passions into one harmonious vision.
