Ingredients: Butterfly Pea Flowers, Cornflowers, Earl Grey

Butterfly Pea Flowers are packed with antioxidants and are a lovely blue in color. They also contain Anthocyanin and when citrus is added, the brew turns from blue to purple! Since this tea is blended with Earl Grey, the initial brew is a deep indigo blue that turns into a deep magenta purple when adding lemon. Butterfly Pea & Cornflowers have a lovely floral taste, helpful in mood balancing, supporting digestion, and aiding in weight loss due to their diuretic qualities. When blended with Earl Grey, this tea becomes perfect for your next afternoon tea party. 🥳

Ingredients

Brew Instructions

Amount: 1-3 tsp

Temp: 210 F

Time: 3-5 minutes

The amount of tsp per brew is up to the user's brewing preferences.

  • A standard cup of tea uses 1 tsp, however if you prefer to brew an herbal infusion to maximize the healing properties of the herbs then 3 tsp should be used.
  • To make an herbal infusion, add 3 tsp to a heat resistant glass (We love to use a French Press!), gently crush the herbs with your fingers or a pestle to help weaken the plant's cell walls, pour 1-2 cups of water (at the brew temp listed above) over the herbs, cover the glass to ensure the volatile oils do not escape, steep (for the time listed above). For a super infusion steep up to 8 hours.
  • To make a standard cup, add 1 tsp to a heat resistant glass, pour 1 cup of water (at the brew temp listed above) over the herbs, steep (for the time listed above)
